Job Description:
Performs body maintenance and paint prepping on all types of trucks. Does body shop cleanup. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. If person works out, they might be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training program during working hours in area of body repair.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; reports to a supervisor or manager. Should be a hard worker who wants to learn the business from the ground up. In a few years, the right person could work up to be a journeyman body mechanic who would earn $40,000 per year or more.

This opening is due to the fact that our business is growing. This is a great career path for the right person.

Skill Requirements:
Some body shop experience would be helpful but not necessary. Most helpful would be a positive attitude and a genuine desire to learn about body repairs of vehicles. Our body shop is one of the most technically up to date of body shops in the Portland area.

A physical, credit, criminal and drug screen are required. A clean driving record is a necessity. Great benefits including health insurance for an employee and his family for only $110 per month.
